1. Data used by the game
The game uses Epic Account Services and Epic Online Services for account authentication and online leaderboard features. When you use these features, the game may process:
- your Epic/EOS account identifier and Product User ID;
- your Epic display name or other basic profile information made available by Epic for the authorized account;
- gameplay statistics submitted to leaderboards, including score, clear time and cooperative results;
- technical status information required to connect to Epic Online Services and operate these features.
2. How the data is used
These data are used only to authenticate the player, associate gameplay results with the correct online identity, submit and display leaderboard results, and maintain the game's online functionality.
3. Epic account credentials
The developer does not ask for, receive, or store your Epic Games account password. Epic account authentication is performed through Epic's own systems. Authentication session information may be managed locally by Epic/EOS so that a previously authorized player can sign in again without repeating the authorization flow every time.
4. Advertising and sale of personal data
Jumpy vs. Chompy does not use third-party advertising trackers and does not sell personal data. The Epic account and leaderboard data described above are used for game functionality rather than targeted advertising.
5. Third-party services
Online account, statistics and leaderboard functions are provided through Epic Games services. Data processed by Epic is also subject to Epic Games' own privacy practices. See Epic Games Privacy Policy.
6. Data retention
Leaderboard and statistics data may remain associated with your Epic/EOS identity for as long as needed to provide the game's online ranking and statistics features, subject to the capabilities and policies of Epic Online Services.
7. Your choices
You may choose not to authorize Epic Account Services. In that case, features that require an Epic online identity, including online leaderboards, may be unavailable. You can also manage your Epic Games account through Epic's account services.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the game's online features or data practices change. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when a material revision is published.
